Dell stops all operations in Russia

MOSCOW (Reuters) – Dell Technologies Inc said on Saturday it would halt all operations in Russia and close its offices in mid-August.

The US computer company, which supplies servers to Russia in particular, had already suspended sales to Ukraine and Russia in February, saying it was looking into the situation before deciding what to do next.

“In mid-August, we closed our offices and stopped all operations in Russia,” Dell spokesman Mike Simienas told Reuters.
