An exceptional purchasing power premium is a great financial incentive for French workers. This is the time to enjoy!
Millions of French people get this bonus and you can easily become one of them. The People Act Magazine team will tell you everything you need to know about this state aid, eligible French people, the conditions for receiving it, and the distribution schedule.
Exceptional purchasing power bonus extended in 2022
This state aid aims to increase the purchasing power of the French. It is paid by companies and is exempt from fees and taxes. Thus, it benefits both business leaders who curry favor with their workers and the government, which limits the amount it can draw from government reserves.
In 2019, this bonus was distributed to 5 million French people for a total of 2.2 billion euros. It has been extended in 2020 and 2021. Following the health crisis caused by COVID-19, the operation will resume in 2022.
Which French are concerned?
The President of the Republic, Emmanuel Macron, did nothing by halves. An exceptional bonus is available to all employees earning up to three times the minimum monthly wage, i.e. maximum EUR 4,663.74 gross. This amount is much higher than the French average and therefore concerns people in positions of responsibility.

This exceptional award, called the Macron Prize, also applies to temporary workers, as well as to civil servants of a state-owned industrial and commercial enterprise or a state administrative institution.
Unemployed or RSA users are not eligible for this allowance. There are other systems for their specific needs.
Inflation bonus, engagement contract for those under 25 (€500 per month), Christmas bonus, €300 cultural pass, etc. Macron hands out tickets like rain https://t.co/i3Q2WlE5aP

The same goes for business leaders hard hit by the crisis, who are receiving special support.
This premium is not taxed. It is also compatible with the Activity Bonus and Adult with Disabilities (AAH) allowance. So no nasty surprises!
If you are one of the French who earn more than three times the minimum wage per month, the state considers that you have enough resources to live on your own.
What is the amount of this award?
The amount of the exclusive bonus is variable. However, its amount is limited. For companies that have not signed a profit sharing agreement, it can be up to 1,000 euros. This is a hell of a push towards the end of the year!
The exceptional bonus becomes even more interesting for employees who sign the agreement.
Thus, Macron’s bonus can reach 2,000 euros. For the most modest salaries, this can mean almost two months of additional income.
Some trades automatically receive the highest bonus. These are the workers who are everyday heroes who continued to work in the midst of the COVID-19 health crisis.
These are supermarket cashiers, green space agents, garbage collectors and all the maintenance workers who helped maintain hygiene in the midst of a pandemic. This amounts to no less than 4.6 million French people, which is quite a lot!
The state is also not to sometimes give an activity bonus of 500 euros to employees and replace the company. We are not in Russia. The company has a beautiful role.

As for hospital staff, they receive a profit sharing bonus that benefits from a different pay schedule.
With the presidential election approaching, Emmanuel Macron is making a very good gesture for the population. People Act Magazine isn’t sure it’s enough to get him re-elected and make people forget about the yellow vest crisis as well as pandemic management, but this exceptional bonus is an incentive not to be missed anyway!
When will we receive the exclusive purchasing power bonus?
The exceptional purchasing power bonus, or Macron bonus, varies from year to year. For example, the premium for 2021-2022 began to be paid from June 1, 2021.
The deadline is March 31, 2022, at the end of the month. If you’re worried about this promotion but still haven’t received your check, it’s time to talk to your boss!
Likewise, if you are an employer and want to take advantage of the tax benefits of this assistance, don’t waste a second!
